How Do I Find or Replace a Lost Texas Food Handler Card?

Texas does not keep a single statewide lookup for individual food handler cards. To replace a lost card, log back in to the state-approved provider you originally trained with and reprint your certificate. If you cannot remember the provider, it is usually faster to simply retake a short course.

Each accredited provider keeps its own records, so your replacement comes from the company you trained with — not from the state. Log in to your account on that website and download or print a new copy.

Cannot remember who you used, or have a shift coming up fast? Retaking an accredited course takes about 30 minutes, has no exam, and gives you a fresh certificate instantly. With Food Handlers of Texas, reprints are always free, so you will never be stuck again.
