If you are looking to begin your career in the food service industry, it is in your best interest to undergofood safety training with us. Most food establishments follow stringent hiring policies and consider only those applicants who are backed-up with a valid Food Handlers Card. It is therefore mandatory for every food worker in Texas to take up a food handlers course and complete the same to be liable to receive the Food Handlers Card (also called a Food Handler Permit).
We issue you a 2 year Food Handlers Card as soon as you complete the course with us. For Tarrant County, the validly shall be 1 year. Renewal Renewing your card is very simple. All you need to do is to either login your credentials from the first completion, or create a new account. You would then need to re-take the course and renew your card.
As soon as you complete the course, you are allowed to immediately print your card. Alternatively, you can log into your account later and print or download the certificate. For your convenience, we can even Email it to you.
Your Food Handlers Card will only be valid once you get it approved by the local Health Department of that area. This is not needed for Austin and Tarrant County.
